I love traveling a lot, and I mean who doesn’t? Going to new places, experiencing new things, learning about different cultures, meeting new people, and whatnot. One of the best places that is on my bucket list is Miami.

I have heard a lot about this place, even popular rapper Lil Wayne said during an interview “Miami has embraced me and I love them for that”. Miami has several sightseeing and activity options, but what are the best ones?

In this article, I will tell you about the must-be-seen sights of Miami, Florida. So as soon as you take the Miami Airport taxi and check into your hotel, these should be the places you go and see first, okay? Let’s start this article.

Immerse Yourself in The World of Monet

Have you heard about Claude Monet? Yes, the illustrious French painter. His digital exhibition takes place around the world where all his famous masterpieces are put on display. The whole place is booked and is equipped with the latest projection equipment.

The last time when it was held was in early 2023. The exhibition took place in Ice Place Studios, which was spread in 50,000 square feet. Walls, ceilings, floors, you name it were covered with the optically projected work of Claude Monet.

Rumors suggest that the Beyond Monet is going to be held again in Miami, and it will soon be announced. So, keep checking, and as soon as the location and date are announced, book the tickets. 

Florida Panthers

I love wildlife sanctuaries and zoos, learning about new animals and how they do things just captivates me. If you are someone like me, then you have to go and see the Florida Panthers.

No, I’m not talking about the team, I’m talking about one of the most endangered species of cats. There are only 200 of these animals are left in the wild and are protected under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Harming or harassing this animal is a punishable offense.

You can go and see this amazing creature at Palm Beach Zoo, Zoo Miami, Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, and Big Cypress National Preserve.

Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival

Food and wine lovers can’t miss the Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival. This is a gathering of great chefs featuring great gourmet food and tasting fine wine. You have to make an early reservation for this because seats get sold out in a blink.

This year the festival will start on December 12 and will go on till December 15. This is a whole new experience for people who enjoy quality time you can see live cooking, choose from different cuisines get fine-aged wine and just have a blast overall. 

Miami City Ballet

Miami City Ballet is considered to be one of the best ballet companies in the United States. Founded in 1985 it is known for its blend and balance between both contemporary and classical ballet.

The 2024-25 season dates are out and bookings are live, you can book the tickets at the Miami City Ballet site. Good drinks and great performances sound like a great and memorable evening to me.

Picnic While Watching The Symphony

I like live music and a picnic near a great beach or park, but don’t you think it would be even better if these two things could happen at once? Well, it is possible you can go to Miami and listen to the New World Symphony while enjoying your picnic.

They perform on different beaches and parks, and you can book tickets for their shows online, there are several dates you can choose from. Live music, a gathering of people, and a great time, it’s just a perfect way to spend some peaceful time.

Wave at The Winter Festival Boat Parade

If you are thinking about going to Miami during winter, then you most certainly can’t miss The Winter Festival Boat Parade. The waterway will be filled with big decorated boats that will light up the whole area.

The date is out for this year’s festival, it is going to be held on December 14. You don’t even have to make any reservation, just be near the Miami River at around 6 P.M. and you can watch it for free. 

Take a Photo With Old Saint Nick and the Grinch in Doral

During winter, the CityPlace Doral fountain does 10-minute special shows related to Christmas. It will start on November 18 and will go on till December 24.  Here you can get pictures with Old Saint Nick and the Grinch. 

However, you will have to get permission in advance for clicking images and recording videos, this is to comply with the CDC guidelines. As for how are you going to get there? You can just use Kiwitaxi, and they’ll drop you off at the exact destination. 

Fairchild Tropical Gardens

Fairchild Botanic Tropical Garden is one of the best sightseeing places in Miami spread across 83 acres, this is one of the world’s top botanic gardens. This garden has a wide variety of tropical plants that are brought from around the world. 

This is a great place to go with your kids as they can learn a lot of things, and it will keep them occupied. Tickets are available to book from the official site of Fairchild Botanic Tropical Garden.

Grandfather and the Doral Court

If you like to spend time dancing and drinking make sure to visit Doral Yard, here you will get a variety of show dates where different DJs and artists will perform. Great food and drinks will be served.

For example dry vermouth, elderflower, rosemary, and absinthe, Christmas Italian cocktail, etc. You can also choose between different shots like nice or naughty. Book your table and spot on the Doral Yard.

Money Heist is probably one of the best series out there and is loved by millions of people globally. If you want to experience the same infrastructure as shown in the series, you can go and visit the Alfred I. DuPont Building.

This historic venue was built in 1939 and is now used to organize weddings and events. Its interior gives royal vibes and is beautiful from the inside out. So, these are some of the places according to me are must visit.
