Huawei Watch D

HUAWEI offers a diverse range of smartwatches and fitness trackers that are geared towards a healthy lifestyle and have good workout tracking capabilities but may not have as many advanced features compared to other devices on the market. The HUAWEI Watch D has a good selection of health-tracking features in addition to its ability to measure blood pressure.

HUAWEI smartwatches offer a reliable, standard set of features with some additional options that do not significantly alter the overall design. Many of the HUAWEI Watch models can be considered versatile, well-crafted options that can appeal to a wide range of users based on their personal preferences and needs.

The HUAWEI Watch D is unique, not only within the HUAWEI watch lineup but also in the broader smartwatch market. The HUAWEI Watch D is a smartwatch that has the typical features one would expect, but with the added benefit of being able to measure blood pressure using a built-in inflatable cuff.

Other devices with similar functions to the HUAWEI Watch D have been released on the market, but they either solely focus on this function (such as the Health Watch Pro №80M and Omron Heart Guide) or are often overpriced and do not accurately measure blood pressure without the use of inflatable cuffs.

“The Huawei Watch D attempted to blend medical and universal features.”

Design and Construction

The appearance of the HUAWEI Watch D is largely determined by its functionality, or rather one function. It may be possible to find a more stylish and attractive strap with a width of 30 mm for the HUAWEI Watch D, however, it will not have the ability to hold the inflatable blood pressure cuff that is included with the device.

The design of the watch case itself could potentially be enhanced to be more visually appealing. This is a typical rectangular smartwatch, with a couple of buttons and without any stylization of classic chronometers in the manner of the same HUAWEI Watch GT3 Pro with its wheel. The HUAWEI Watch D is a straightforward, traditional device that is moderately heavy, weighing 41 grams. In comparison, the GT3 Pro model is more than 10 grams heavier.

Functionality

In this review, I will focus on the entire description of the watch in the “Functionality” section, without creating an additional section on fitness and health. The HUAWEI Watch D is well-suited for fitness and has strong health monitoring capabilities, but its primary function is to use data to alter various features on the device. Other features may be considered less important.

In this case, the entire base is present. To work with the watch, you must install the HUAWEI Health application on your smartphone, through which it synchronizes with the accessory (via Bluetooth, of course), controls the basic HUAWEI Watch D utilizes data to modify the dials and other features on the device. If you’re looking for a good deal on a Huawei Watch D price, it’s worth shopping around and comparing prices from different retailers.

Conclusion

It is challenging to accurately place the HUAWEI Watch D in the broader category of smartwatches due to its unique feature set that may not appeal to all users. Although the HUAWEI Watch D has a great feature for measuring blood pressure, it does not offer true moisture protection, which may be a sacrifice for some users the HUAWEI watch offers features for use during swimming, such as the built-in speaker and the ability to connect an e-SIM, which are also present in other models in the HUAWEI watch lineup. The HUAWEI Watch D has a simple, masculine design and is larger in size.
