“To go out with the setting sun on an empty beach is to truly embrace your solitude.”
– Jeanne Moreau (French actress, singer and director)
Last month, I finally got the chance to check another place off my bucket list, and that is Goa. Hearing that, you might be thinking of vibrant beaches, thrills at night, and the delicacies at the best hotels in Baga Goa.
All the bright and lively images come to our mind when we think of a trip to Goa, and I won’t say these are not accurate, but these are certainly not it.
Amidst all the chit-chat, music, and radiant places, there is something hidden in serenity. I know it might be hard for you to believe. So let me walk you through all those unforgettable memories from my trip, my stay at Bloom Boutique | Baga, the typical Goa vibe but with a balance of modern comfort.
My stay at Bloom Boutique | Baga
It is a world of its own at Bloom Boutique, coming from the busy Baga streets. The hotel is only a short stroll away from the golden sands of Baga Beach, offering the perfect mix of chic design and tropical aesthetics. Bright hues and tasteful decoration relaxed me, invigorating my eagerness to explore.
It wasn’t so long after checking in, either, that I was shown around my room: a cavernous refuge in bright and saturated hues of tropical islands filled with modern furnishings. After some relaxation on the Cloud Bed with lots of time allowed to acquaint myself and digest all the added amenities, I headed to Bloom Café and Bar for breakfast.
The staff had a warm smile. I sat in a small, cozy place and enjoyed a luscious spread of fresh fruits, fluffy pancakes, and strong coffee—the perfect fuel for a day out exploring.
Baga Beach Buzz
Satisfied with a full belly, I walked out to Baga Beach, which is just six minutes from the hotel. The beach was so full of energy—families splashing in the water, groups having water sports, and laughter everywhere.
Feeling like joining in on all the fun, I decided that my adrenaline would need that boost, so I chose jet skiing. It was real adrenaline zipping across the waves; I thought I’d go, grinning from ear to ear all day long.
Later, walking along the seashore, gentle waves washed up at my feet. Occasionally, I paused to look at this view of bright blue skylines against golden, soft white dunes, which made these beach shacks a complete postcard setting.
FUN FACT
Before becoming a major tourist destination, Baga was a quaint fishing village. The remnants of its fishing heritage can still be seen today, with local fishermen often bringing in their catch, adding charm to the beach’s traditional feel.
Seeking Peace with the Hurricane:
It had been a chaotic morning, so I was thirsting for some serenity, I got back to my hotel and dashed to the hotel’s swimming pool. The place was quiet enough that it highlighted just how chaotic the beach looked.
Floating on my back, looking up at the sky above, all the stress slowly leaked out of my body. This was one of those rare occurrences when time was frozen in stillness. Feeling refreshed, I just lay by the pool with a book I had brought from home. The breeze blowing, and soft music coming out of the hotel’s café set the perfect atmosphere.
Local Attractions
Refreshed and ready for more, I ventured out to find some local attractions. And, just a quick drive, I found Starlight Restaurant in Arpora, where I had a great seafood lunch. The ambiance was relaxing. I enjoyed every bite of the meal while chatting with the other travelers who were equally enchanted by Goa’s charm.
After lunch, I headed to the Saturday Night Market, a four-minute drive from my hotel. There was an exciting buzz in the air, with various stalls selling handicrafts, local foods, and much more. I relished the delicacies while experiencing the atmosphere that surrounded me. The colors, music, and smell combined for an experience that will not be forgotten anytime soon.
A Night of Fun and Relaxation
It was late afternoon when I went to Hammerzz Nightclub, a stone’s throw from my hotel. The place was charged with electrifying energy. There were people dancing, laughing, and letting go into the night of Goa. I forgot myself in the music as it guided my movement in perfect rhythm. The night was fun and freedom all in one.
After a night of revelry, I returned to Bloom Boutique. I liked how the hotel managed to keep its calm amid the lively beach scene. The thoughtful design and comfortable rooms gave a sense of homely comfort retreat after the hustle and bustle of the day.
A Gastronomic Journey
The next day, I thought I deserved a treat, and so I went to Bloom Café and Bar for a relaxed brunch. The chefs here actually do magic; I couldn’t help but try their local Goan dishes, and the flavors danced on my palate as I appreciated every meal feeling like a delightful Goan adventure.
With a satisfied stomach and a content heart, I sat back, reflecting on my time in Baga. This mix of wild adventure and peaceful interlude was exactly what I wanted.
DO YOU KNOW?

Finding Balance
Baga Beach is full of activity, but has in it the secret of finding balance amidst chaos. The right approach can easily let one indulge in adventurous experiences along with moments of peace.
So, be it surfing or just hanging out by the pool, know that Baga has something for everyone. It’s a place where you can find adventure and peace, all wrapped up in the beautiful Goa package. I left with cherished memories, a camera full of photos, and a heart full of joy while staying at the best hotel in Baga Goa—ready to share my adventures with others, just like I’m doing now.
If you ever visit Baga, immerse yourself in the chaos and find your serenity. You will love it!
